Speaking At Library Advocacy Day

New York State Assembly Minority Leader Brian M. Kolb (R,C,I,Ref-Canandaigua) spoke at Library Advocacy Day in the Well of the Legislative Office Building on Wednesday, February 28, 2018. The New York Library Association’s annual event was attended by hundreds of library advocates from across the state to show their support for funding and policies that benefit libraries. Gov. Cuomo has proposed cutting $4 million from library aid in his Executive Budget proposal. Leader Kolb called for restoration of all funding and reinforced his support for libraries and the positive impact they have on people’s lives in every region of New York State.
