Meeting With Lt. Gov. To Discuss Small Business

New York State Assembly Minority Leader Brian M. Kolb (R,C-Canandaigua) (left) recently met with Lt. Gov. Kathy Hochul (center) and Patty Hotchkiss (right), at Hotchkiss’ diner, Patty’s Place, in Canandaigua on January 28. Hotchkiss has owned and operated the diner for nearly 20 years.
The three met to discuss elements of the governor’s Executive Budget proposal, especially as it pertains to the needs of small businesses. Leader Kolb is the only legislative leader in Albany who has owned and run a business, and understands from firsthand experience the challenges small business owners face in New York, where onerous regulations and high taxes have plagued the state for too long.
