Breaking Ground At Veteran Housing Site

New York State Assembly Minority Leader Brian M. Kolb (R,C-Canandaigua) (fourth from right) joins elected officials and developers at a groundbreaking in Canandaigua on Tuesday, November 10. Ceremonial shovels mark the first stage of the Housing for Veterans of Canandaigua project on Parkside Drive.
The 48-unit housing complex will have 25 apartments available for veterans who are homeless or at risk of becoming homeless. The remaining units will be affordable housing for veterans and their families who are at or below 50 percent of the median income. The housing is expected to be open October 1, 2016.
