A New Year, A Fresh Start

With 2019 quickly winding down, I want to encourage everyone to take a look at the past year and reflect on the ways in which we can, as fellow humans and fellow New Yorkers, better ourselves in the future. New Year’s Day is the perfect opportunity to take advantage of a fresh start. As we close the book on this decade, I hope we can all come together, put aside our differences and work toward a more positive 2020. During a time when divisions and differences get so much attention, let’s pledge to spread kindness and compassion.

With each year that passes, new opportunities arise to improve ourselves, help our communities, and lend a hand to someone in need. In 2020, let’s continue the spirit of helping those around us who may be searching for assistance. By strengthening our bonds to the community, we create a healthier and happier atmosphere for all.

MY RESOLUTION AT THE CAPITOL

In 2020, I hope the primary focus at the Capitol will be on helping every-day New Yorkers. It’s time for legislators to come together and create the best New York possible. We must establish policies that improve the quality of life for the people we represent, and ease many of the burdens families and businesses face every day. In 2020, we have a responsibility to get to work on solutions that make it easier to live, work and raise a family. Legislators need to lead by example and create a positive environment for growth.

REMEMBER TO INDULGE SAFELY

For those celebrating the holiday by gathering with family and friends, please do so safely. With the numerous ride-sharing apps available, as well as public transportation, drinking and driving simply isn’t an option. Think about the safety of yourself and others around you.

As a legislator, I promise to stay committed to the well-being of my constituents and those across this great state in the upcoming year. There are incredible things in store for New York. I want to wish each of you a safe and Happy New Year!

Should a 9mm of a 45 suffice for Brian?

Self help is the best help brian, I heard there is a sale at walmarts.

Pick up one fast, & pull yourself up from the buttstraps.
