New York State Assembly Minority Leader Brian M. Kolb (R,C,I,Ref-Canandaigua) (right) met with local small business owners Tara Hastings and Matt Martin from Canandaigua in the Capitol on Monday, June 12. Martin, a Canandaigua city councilman, owns a construction company and his fiancé, Hastings, owns a property management business. The two were introduced in the Assembly Chamber where they were able to see New York State government in action. Leader Kolb has worked diligently on behalf of the state’s small businesses to improve the economic climate in New York and remove unnecessary regulations that hinder the opportunity for growth.
