Assembly Speaker Sheldon Silver (D-Manhattan) and Assembly Minority Leader Brian M. Kolb (R,I,C-Canandaigua) will co-host the 40th anniversary celebration of Special Olympics New York (SONY) tomorrow, Wednesday, March 17th, 2010 at 11:00 a.m. in the “Well” of the Legislative Office Building in Albany.
The day will begin with a brief press conference and the festivities will continue until 3:00 p.m. as the State Legislature honors SONY’s mission and the tens of thousands of athletes who participate in Special Olympics programs around the world.
