Speaking At NYS Assembly Legislative Disabilities Awareness Day

New York State Assembly Minority Leader Brian M. Kolb (R,C,I-Canandaigua) discussed the achievements of the disabled community and honored their advocates at NYS Assembly Legislative Disabilities Awareness Day. Leader Kolb co-hosted the event, which featured students’ artwork aimed at raising awareness of the needs of the disability community, and an award ceremony for Douglas Hovey, who received the Dr. Henry Viscardi, Jr. Advocacy Award. The Assembly voted on a package of legislation aimed at improving the lives of the disabled community following the event.
