New York State Assembly Republican Leader Brian M. Kolb (R,C,I-Canandaigua) attended an Honor Flight event Tuesday, Sept. 23 at the Ontario County Health Facility in Hopewell. Leader Kolb recognized WWII veterans for their dedication and sacrifices serving our country. The event was held in place of the customary flights to Washington D.C. due to health related issues for the veterans. The Honor Flight Network is a non-profit organization that recognizes veterans by flying them to our nation’s capital and allowing them to visit the memorials built in their honor. Leader Kolb (right) is shown here with William Moreland, a WWII veteran and resident at the facility.
